In depth

Verdict

Classic Pursuit narrowly beat Samovar here last month, though both have been well beaten back at the track subsequently when finishing behind fourth-placed Midnight Malibu. Moonraker has now won two of three starts over course and distance after scoring here on New Year’s Day and is preferred to Danzan and Jumira Bridge on this surface but FOOLAAD (NAP) looks a tougher proposition. The latter went close at Newcastle recently on his first start since October but is arguably at his beat on the Fibresand having won four of eight previous outings on this surface and can add to that tally by landing this.
