In depth
Verdict
SIR WILL was heavily supported on his racecourse debut at Naas in January and duly obliged despite running very green. He was purchased at the Sales for £135,000 and Peter Bowen will certainly get some improvement out of him. Sugar Train was sent to Doncaster for his debut and ran really well to finish runner-up to Davy Doubt, who was thought good enough to run in the Chetenham bumper. He's another certain to make progress and it should be a good race between the pair. Detroit Blues cost £100,000 after his victory at Dromohane though he hasn't shown much to date but Muthabir made a very bright start at Lingfield in December.
