In depth

Verdict

GENARI, Safari Adventures and Russian Invader form the shortlist here and the vote goes to Genari. The selection travelled well last time but he didn't quite get home, so the drop back in trip is a plus and he can provide his in form trainer with another winner. Lucinda Russell sends Safari Adventures to post here and he ran well last time when he was third behind Dishdasha at Perth. However, this is his 12th start over fences and he has yet to get his head in front so he is hard to recommend with confidence. Russian Invader was an eyecatcher last time out when he stayed-on well from off the pace. If the blinkers work the oracle again as they did that day then he would have to enter calculations. Toulouse Express has won over this course and distance and he could prove best of the others, but a safer bet looks to be Genari who gets our pick.
