In depth

Verdict

Wheres The Hare won a novices' event at Ffos Las in May and has scope for improvement in this tougher contest while Cuban Piece will also need to step up on his Cartmel victory off a 6lb higher mark. Ultravox went close in a lower grade race at Uttoxeter last time behind the progressive Small Fry but the vote goes to CUBISM. He should be spot on now after a couple of outings on the Flat and, with his conditional's claim taken into account, can race off the same mark as when scoring in similar company at Exeter last year. Is It Me is upped in class after last week's second at this track but Majestic Mayhem is not out of this on his first start since May.
