Seniergues took a backward step last time at Uttoxeter but Mr Mafia continued on an upward curve when out-battling Dotties Dilema at Worcester. CRAIGMOR was well backed on his handicap debut at Bangor and was staying on in the closing stages. He races off the same mark here but Lewis Stones claims 10lb and Olly Murphy’s charge looks poised to record a first victory as Fakenham winner Havisham steps up a grade off a 7lb higher mark. Sgroppino was still beaten 20 lengths when second in a maiden at Warwick but Porto Du Sud probably has each-way claims.
