        Verdict

        Well drawn, Francport has an excellent chance of winning first race for over a year under a very capable amateur. He has slipped down the handicap to a very winnable mark and is a confident TEAMtalk selection provided he stays this extra furlong. Any stamina doubts will be tested by Scramble who stays further than this and has useful course form. Tefi disappointed on his latest start but is another who can handle this surface and has an excellent chance if in the mood. The rest are generally poor though place cases could be made for Rainbow River, Bonito and Spice Island.
