        Ursa Major Won twice around this time last year; only 1 lb higher than for most recent win, at Lingfield on Dec 28; usually runs at Lingfield but has won here.

        Night Sight (USA) Only recently stepped up in trip; dropped 2 lbs for his run behind Mi Odds; cannot be ruled out.

        Spanish Star Raised 5 lbs for winning here last time; that form reads quite well and is not without a chance here; looks fairly closely-wighted with Kylkenny and Night Sight through Mi Odds.

        Kylkenny Won two here but then got beaten at Wolverhampton; only 8 lbs higher than for the first of those wins so not without chances.

        Simply Noble Hasn't won since 1998; running well off, or around, this mark here; may just find one or two too good.

        Silver Socks Has been raised 16 lbs for four straight wins, two of them here, the latest three days ago; would be a good effort to go in again.

        Distinctly Well (IRE) Has not won for the best part of eighteen months; he's a good bit lower in the weights now so you couldn't rule him out.

        Marmaduke (IRE) 6 lbs more than when winning here the other day; entitled to run well again.
