Verdict
Altitude Dancer, Digger, Victory Quest and Royal Atalza look the main protagonists in a wide-open handicap but the confident vote goes to Digger. The selection from the in-form Gay Kelleway yard is on a handy mark and a reproduction of his latest second behind Fontanesi would make him hard to beat. Altitude Dancer rates the main danger, having won well last time when beating Land Of Fantasy, and although he has risen in the weights, won in the style of an improver and will not be far away. Victory Quest is another that could go well on his defeat of Box Builder last time but he has never won over a trip this far before, and for that reason is opposed. Royal Atalza landed a gamble last time out but he only just got up in the shadows of the post, and although he will be suited by the step up in trip this looks much more competitive. Of the remainder Western is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Digger.
