    Verdict

East River is the only one with experience of Fibresand having finished a well-beaten fourth behind Gerrard's Slip, due to run in the previous race, over 6f here. Leith Bridge never threatened when third at Kempton on his debut but the more-exposed Mary Ann Bugg went close at Lingfield last time. Ernest showed some improvement on his latest outing but a chance is taken on WINN LILY making a winning start as she is related to seven winners in Italy and will not have to be anything special to land this.
