        Formwatch

        Redoubtable (USA) Back to form with a win at Wolverhampton, and has a fair chance at the weights, but his form here is generally not as good.

        Prime Recreation Won a fair handicap over five furlongs here earlier in the month and well treated by these race conditions. Clearly likes it here and if his temperament holds up he would have every chance.

        Euro Venture Hasn't won since July and although his best form would give him every chance, the stable is not in the best of form so he can probably be ruled out today.

        First Venture Drops in class after some reasonable efforts in better company and at these weights a bold bid is anticipated.

        Pierpoint (IRE) Placed in last two starts over this trip, but still has a bit to find at these weights and others are preferred.

        Sergeant Slipper Second over minimum trip here last time, but that is his best distance and has a lot to find on official ratings.

        Statoyork Coming back after lengthy absence and his best form up to now has been on turf.

        The Gay Fox Well beaten at Doncaster last week and hard to see him reversing previous form behind Redoubtable and Pierpoint.

        Time To Fly Stiff task at weights and recent Wolverhampton form suggests he has plenty to find.

        Welcome Gift Very lightly raced, with a good record on the all-weather, but slight doubt over his fitness, as he has been absent since last May.

        Xsynna Poor form since Wolverhampton second in January and hard to see him a factor in this.

        Dahlidya Frustrating mare who drops herself out before flying home late. Might scrape into the places but hard to see her winning.

        Diamond Rachael (IRE) Her recent form has been uninspiring but this is her easiest opportunity for a while, and she could go well at a fair price.

        Frampant Won in a big field at Newbury last year, but little encouragement since and has a lot to do at the weights in this.

        Anthony Royle Third in course and distance maiden last week but this looks a lot more competitive and hard to see him playing a part in the finish.

        Regal Air (IRE) Quite lightly raced but placed twice here last year and if she is fit after an absence of over six months then she may not be too far away.
