Verdict
None have raced on the Fibresand before but STRONG POWER, rated 86, should go close if handling the surface. The latter scored over the minimum trip at Lingfield back in May with a couple of subsequent winners behind. Maystar is another winner on the Turf at Lingfield but failed to cope carrying a penalty at Catterick a fortnight ago while One Bite suffered the same fate at Hamilton having won at the latter track earlier. Augustus Caesar is helped by an apprentice’s allowance today while Abbaleka is out of a speedy mare and preferred to stablemate Triple Spear and also Royal Context of the newcomers.
