        Verdict

        The betting suggested ON THE CUSP was expected to return to form back at this venue last time. He duly obliged and can go in again with a 6lb rise negated by Ella Smith's allowance. Course regulars Elusive Warrior and Masked Dance have yet to score over further than 7f and Ivy Port won over the same trip here back in March. Polytrack winner Hail Promenader has yet to race on this surface but both McConnell and Putin are course and distance winners and not easily overlooked.
