      Verdict

      Masterful Act landed a double here in January but is 8lb higher than his latest win. He beat RETURNTOBRECONGILL over track and trip on one of those occasions though the latter is fancied to take revenge re-opposing on much better terms. James Given's charge gets the nod given Dewala has plenty to find with the selection and The Lock Master was a length behind Frontier Fighter over a mile here last month. The latter has won again since but is an unknown over this longer distance, while both Stepping Ahead and Halfsin have claims on their best form but have yet to race on Fibresand.
