In depth
Verdict
Shadowfax, Dark Champion and Inching look the principals in this poor maiden and the vote goes to Shadowfax. The gelding was sixth behind Jaloar last time when he looked in need of the run. He will strip fitter here and will be hard to beat. Dark Champion would be hard to beat on his best form but he has looked to have better chances in other races and got beaten so for that reason is opposed. Inching could also go well he was a fair second behind Cloudless in a similar race last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Of the remainder Wainwright is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but in a tricky affair we are happy to side with Shadowfax.
