In depth

Verdict

Weet A Surprise can follow up two recent successes and should take this race at the expense of Liani and Little Finch. Reg Hollinshead's inmate will be ridden by Liam Keniry rather than regular pilot, Hayley Turner but the filly handles this surface perfectly well and is expected to follow up again. Liani is in receipt of lots of weight. The form of her second to Captain Crooner rates as arguably some of her best to date. Little Finch has shown plenty of early speed in similar contests and is one to note if the market speaks in her favour. Andrasta has proved disappointing of late while My Kaiser Chief is potentially open to improvement on a second start at Southwell. A trappy affair and it would be a surprise if Weet A Surprise could not give away weight all around.
