        Verdict

        A prolific course winner, Mediterranean Sea remains out of form and was beaten 11 lengths despite finishing third here last time. ROYAL TROOPER makes more appeal as he won one of these events at Wolverhampton under Becky Brisbourne on his latest start and wasn't beaten far in fourth on his sole previous outing at this track. Honest Strike won here back in 2010 but his last three wins have been over 2m on the Polytrack while Brunello also has past form on this surface and returns to the Flat after a spell over hurdles.
