    Verdict

    PEARL PRINCESS was only beaten a nose over course and distance on her latest start and will be a short price to go one better against only three rivals here. Crafted didn't show much in two runs last term but has probably strengthened up over the winter and it would be no surprise to see a better performance today. Miss Wells' half-length second at Newcastle was a big step forward and she should handle the surface but Lenderking is already fully exposed.
