        Verdict

        DEPUTISE was successful in a Classified event at the track last week and while the assessor has stepped in with a 4lb penalty, it may not be enough to prevent a repeat. He will be reopposed by Blackcurrent and Alan Brown’s charge isn’t dismissed lightly given he was wrong at the weights on that occasion and is now 8lb better off with his rival. Bomb Squad has been consistent in his work but winning isn’t something that comes easily to John Mackie’s inmate. Tathmeen is more often seen at Newcastle though did prevail over course and distance in January. Irish Dessert is yet to build upon a creditable run in defeat at Leicester while Guest List has plummeted down the weights and attempts to arrest a lengthy losing run.
