In depth

Verdict

YORK KEY BAR can land this modest maiden, and is selected ahead of Wotatomboy and Trigger McCann. York Key Bar has been placed on his 3 outings to date and looks to have a win within him. He only cost 800 guineas as a yearling, and on what we've seen so far, should be capable of winning this. Trigger McCann was narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton last time out, in what was a better race than this. He's also got the advantage of coming from stall one. Wotatomboy has previously only raced over 5 furlongs, but as yet not really come close to landing a blow since a decent second, second time out. It shouldn't take a great deal of winning, but we like the chances of York Key Bar, and even the girls are allowed to back him!
