      In depth

      Formwatch

Thaayer Not seen out for three months and past evidence suggests he is likley to be better for this outing.

Welcome Gift Has had a break since the winter campaign and is probably best watched for the time being.

Gay Breeze Getting on a bit now and hasn't shown enough of late to suggest he'll be a leading contender today.

Waterford Spirit (IRE) Ran well last time but is inconsistent and not one to rely on even though he has his share of ability.

Rex Is Okay Moody gelding but is a fair performer in this grade; not without a chance if consenting to put his best foot forward.

Marengo Has been knocking on the door of late but seems to lack a finishing kick these days and is always going to be vulnerable to a strong finisher.

Seven Springs (IRE) Goes well here but recent turf efforts don't inspire too much confidence.

Featherstone Lane Has run well over 7f in two most recent outings but will be better suited by today's trip and must be respected.

Pleasure Has shaped well in recent starts and offered enought o suggest her turn is not too far away; has a sporting chance to get on the scoresheet today.

Xsynna Hard to fancy on the balance of form so far and would need to find plenty to get into the shake-up.

Baritone Popped up at a decent price last time and could go well again if in the same form ; fair chance.

Fiennes (USA) Looks as if his winning turn won't be too far away after some promising efforts of late; sure to give a good account of himself.

Blushing Grenadier (IRE) Getting a bit long on the tooth and recent efforts are uninspiring.

Palvic Lady Modest mare who looks up against it once again today.

Statosilver Not a lot to crow about in three runs so far and is hard to fancy.

Blue Kite Overall form looks good enought o give him a serious chance here and a reproduction of previous course efforts entitles him to a leading chance.
