Verdict

Fattsota was rated 112 on the Flat after scoring at Ripon in April of last year and though never quite living up to that mark looks a smart recruit to hurdling. Jack Bear was in touch for a long way at Plumpton a month ago but weakened quickly and will need to do better. The four-year-old Manny Owens is the type to do better in time as is Pokora Du Lys, who has shown promise over hurdles in France though is likely to make a chaser. SUMKINDOFKING (NAP) easily won a point-to-point at Inch in March and could hardly have been more impressive when landing a Chepstow bumper on his debut for Tom George early this month. It will take a good performance to prevent him completing a hat-trick on his hurdling debut.
