        Verdict

        A wide open affair to start to proceedings. Ysper won a maiden race over track and trip last week but will need to improve further under a penalty while Imjin River also carries 6lb extra for his recent win at this track. Dancing Freddy finished closer at Lingfield last time and is a course and distance winner while Iffranesia has been in fine form on the Polytrack and makes her Fibresand debut. Sir Geoffrey is not easily dismissed dropping back down a grade but a speculative vote goes to stablemate CADEAUX PEARL. He was placed here last month off a 5lb higher mark and Tom Queally's presence suggests it could be his turn today.
