In depth

Verdict

KINGAROO comes here in cracking form and is taken to complete a hat-trick. The four-year-old carries a penalty for a decisive success over course and distance when he was two lengths to the good over Yossi, but always in control. The time of that race was a fair bit quicker than the maiden on the same card so it looks good in context and he can repeat the dose. Yossi again races from out of the handicap and a repeat effort can see him pick up more prize money. Fashionable Gal ran second in three maidens at up to 10f and suffered a mishap when leaving the stalls at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening. She is 2lb lower here and given her pedigree and connections she would have to be considered a threat. Maslak has won twice over course and distance from higher marks. He comes here after a decent effort at Newbury last time and is likely to be involved at the business end.
