    Verdict

    Makin A Statement has the best piece of form with a close-up third over 5f at Newcastle. But that was nearly a year ago now and a poor effort on his reappearance at Catterick in October does not boost confidence. THUNDERBIRD looks a safer bet on her second at the track three weeks ago when finishing ahead of the re-opposing Winn Lily. Scott Dixon's filly is also preferred to Misu Mac, who is rated just 24.
