Iffy, Rust en Vrede and Orpen Wide are the three to look at here and Iffy is taken to maintain winning form. Dual Flat winner Rust en Vrede has turned in some consistent performances over hurdles and deserved his success at Market Rasen last time. he looks sure to run his race but may have to settle for a place on this occasion. A Beverley winner on the Flat, and also a dual handicap hurdle winner this year, Orpen Wide finished well clear of the third when runner up at Southwell last time. That was a good effort though the handicapper may just have him in his grip. Iffy is eight pounds higher than when claiming a handicap hurdle over the course and distance in smooth fashion last time but that rise may not be enough to stop him. A novice hurdle winner earlier, he looks worth following. Iffy can score again.
