In depth

Verdict

Magic Dancer is in the veteran stage now but won off a 3lb higher mark at Cheltenham on his reappearance last season. Quoi De Neuf is useful when in the mood but SHAKEM UP’ARRY has form at a higher level. He’s had wind surgery since last season and has the class to defy top weight on his return to action. Hystery Bere made a winning start over fences in the spring and had a run on the Flat last month while Nickle Back was very impressive on his chasing bow at Warwick four weeks ago. El Muchacho tackles the larger obstacles for the first time but has won a point and isn’t badly treated on his hurdles form.
