Verdict
Waldenstroem is selected to land the finale ahead of Eight Palms and Sunsetten. Carl Llewellyns' charge disappointed at Fontwall last time after a promising debut run at Newbury last year. The trainer has to be respected when taking the mount aboard his runners in these contests and a chance is taken he is over that run at Fontwell and can take this finale. Eight Palms, related to some decent sorts, has to be respected hailing from these quarters while Sunsetten won impressively at Doncaster in an event that was very slowly run and developed into a sprint. The market should prove the best guide here and Waldenstroem, whose connections struck with Strategic Approach at Newbury on Saturday can land it.
