In depth

Verdict

After making a winning debut over hurdles at Fontwell around this time last year, George Bancroft has been generally disappointing. DYNAMIC KATE has come good recently but is still at the right end of the handicap. Another 8lb rise is a slight concern as Thomasina Eyston can only claim 7lb nowadays but Neil Mulholland’s mare is probably the one to beat again with Dellboy Trotter making a quick reappearance having finished second at Newton Abbot on Saturday. Kazontherazz has only been narrowly beaten the last twice but those runs came four months apart and she’s been absent since May. Land Of My Delight is less exposed and has more recent form.
