In depth
Verdict
The switch back to fences proved no problem for the in-form WELLS DE LUNE at Cartmel last week. He must be worth sticking with in his current mood as the step up in distance will not be a problem. Comanche Chieftain was a ready winner over track and trip before a fair run over hurdles at Worcester. He also looks to be in good form so shouldn’t be ignored. Indian Temple won over a similar distance at Perth in June but has looked in the handicapper’s grip since. Coeur Tantre should make a chaser given time but was beaten by Dream Bolt on worse terms at Taunton last winter. A Little Magic takes on race-fit rivals and will likely need this after a long absence while Sam Red is often let down by his jumping.
