Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Theflyingscottie, Mr Tambourine Man and Fiddlers Creek and the tentative nomination is given to Theflyingscottie. The selection won a seller in good style last time out when beating Positano and although this looks tougher he won in the style of an improver and under conditions that suit he is taken to defy the handicapper. Mr Tambourine Man rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Chariot but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually archived and is passed over for that reason. Fiddlers Creek won well a coupler of runs ago but has since disappointed off this mark so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Monsieur is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder Time For You looks to be on a handy mark and could go well if fit after a 233 day absence and should be noted in the market but in a trappy affair where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Theflyingscottie.
