Verdict

HOOPER was only sixth on debut at Huntingdon when starting favourite but he is surely capable of better being by Rip Van Winkle out of a useful stayer on the Flat and his yard has already had bumper winners this season. Collateral form gives him the beating of Harrowby, though Alan King’s charge is also a likely improver. The penalised Only Money may need this but newcomers Grey Flint, Teenage Dirtbag and Luttrell Lad are all worth a market check, though the latter will likely need further.
