Verdict
LEROY BROWN appeared to be getting the better of favourite Carys’ Commodity when that one swerved and unseated his rider at Worcester. He has a jumping pedigree so looks a nice prospect and he may be capable of giving the weight to Shantou Express, a promising second at Ludlow in April and another certain to improve for the experience. Witness Protection was staying on when third at Worcester and collateral form suggests he’s closely matched with the selection while Full Of Roque also has point-to-point experience to fall back on.
