        Ballysicyos (FR) Best of these over hurdles and looked useful when winning on chase debut at Plumpton; still going well when falling six out at Fontwell last time. If that hasn't left its mark he is the one to beat.

        St Mellion Par (IRE) Thorough stayer, who will appreciate any rain that falls; may be a bit outpaced.

        Burgundy Bob (IRE) Point-to-point winner, who needs to improve on recent efforts to take a hand.

        Hardly (IRE) Better than he has shown this season; confidence may be lacking after latest fall.

        Hunt Hill (IRE) Disappointing this term, but has the ability to take a hand.

        Libido Point-to-point winner, who has finished well beaten in both starts under rules.

        Never In Debt Pulled up on recent outing in point-to-point company; appears out of his depth.

        Orswell Crest Little encouragement from limited opportunities so far.

        River Gold Probably better than recent efforts suggest, but is difficult to fancy.
