Verdict

Tayarat was a 100/1 chance when making all to beat J'Adhere under Alice Mills at Ludlow last month but he's been well beaten on the all-weather since and the runner-up can reverse the placings on 4lb better terms here. Mauritino finished tailed off in his bid for a six-timer over hurdles at Kempton on Boxing Day and has been rested since, though the quicker ground here is in his favour. Drumshambo, on the other hand, is unproven on going this fast though is in good form. The penny has dropped with AVISO over hurdles and he found a nice turn of foot to score at Warwick last time. This sharp track will suit and David Evans' eight-year-old can complete the hat-trick, though lightly-raced Folkestone winner Marcus Antonius is also worth a second look.
