Verdict
A tricky puzzle to unravel as Basil Fawlty only beat My Mate Vinnie by a head over this trip at Worcester in June and the runner-up is 3lb better off now. David Pipe's charge has since fallen when close up at Worcester while McCoy's mount has only beaten one home at Market Rasen. Baily Storm has gone up 6lb for a recent course and distance win but likes it here and can't be ignored. He's preferred to Turbo Du Ranch and My Lad Percy but PANTXOA could prove a tough opponent. He was in front and travelling like a winner from this mark at Kempton in May when falling and looks ready to strike now.
