Verdict

John Quinn saddles both Veiled Applause and Folk Tune with Dougie Costello opting to partner the former, who proved a decent performer on the Flat last year and will enjoy the forecast good ground. Remember Now is a half-brother to champion hurdler Binocular and has gradually been getting his act together. He was second to Shinrock Hill at Lingfield on his latest start and could be well treated on his handicap debut. Freedom Fire and Shadrack may both need this, while King's Revenge has rather lost his way but Alton Khan can be forgiven his run over further on soft ground at Musselburgh last time and TATISPOUT is another with fair claims. Charlie Longsdon's four-year-old had a decent turn of foot on the level but has been highly tried over timber so far. He caught the eye on his latest start at Huntingdon, however, and is by no means overburdened in this.
