Verdict

GLIMPSE OF GOLD may be an 11-year-old but he’s won three of his last five and has been in the form of his life around Fakenham recently. His latest victory has been franked and he may be capable of defying a further 4lb rise. Newton Abbot runner-up Thahab Ifraj is a danger as is Manor Park, who is fit from the Flat. Aliomaana won twice in her first season over hurdles but has made no impact so far in handicaps.
