In depth

Verdict

A tricky start but May Hay will be popular as she won over track and trip in June, though was beaten 10 lengths off a higher mark here last month. Midnight Jazz will surely find this much too short but Katie Gale has been getting her act together lately over hurdles, though does most of her winning at Southwell. SURENESS has won twice on the Flat this year and a recent third at Towcester will have done wonders for her confidence. She's very well treated over hurdles at present. All three of Carinena's victories have come in Scotland but she'll like the going and Jelly Monger's Flat speed will help on the sharp course.
