In depth
Verdict
Candy Burg has a good strike-rate over fences and has had a short break since only beating one home at Carlisle. Atlantic Storm seeks a fourth course victory but was beaten five lengths by Larch Hill at Warwick last time. Rob Summers’ gelding is 6lb better off but isn’t quite firing on all cylinders at present and the winner may still be improving. Ar Mest only won a seller over hurdles at Fakenham and was sold at the subsequent auction while Le Ligerien needs to improve on what he’s shown over fences so far. GETARIVER hasn’t quite scaled the heights expected so far but she did come up against a well-treated rival last time at Sedgefield and a drop in trip should aid her cause.
