Verdict

JAMES POLLARD won under today's amateur on the Flat at Pontefract earlier this month. He may still be a maiden over timber but has been placed in four of his nine starts and this looks well within his range. The danger may be Mister Fantastic, third at Uttoxeter last month but behind the selection at Newton Abbot in May and only slightly better off. Jackson stepped up on previous efforts to win a novice event at Market Rasen last time but Nether Stream and Adajal are probably best watched at present.
