In depth

Verdict

Haut Cercy, likely to be sent off favourite, is very one-paced in the closing stages of his races and the value looks to be Mitcheldean. He would have won easily last time until unshipping his jockey, but if his jumping stands the test he should gain compensation. Tom's Prize is admirably consistent, goes on any ground and is a must for placepot punters.
