In depth

Verdict

Gerard Mentor won a similar contest at Market Rasen earlier this month and will be fancied to defy a 6lb rise in the weights but he is hardly unexposed. Scudamore has never won on Turf and has already been beaten in a claimer yet has to give 2lb to GREYSTOKE, who probably isn’t straightforward but is a strong traveller and he has a turn of foot which should be an asset around here. Noahthirtytwored finished third at Newton Abbot after winning at Southwell and can’t be ignored despite a further rise in the weights.
