Verdict

PROFESSEUR EMERY made all to win over course and distance 19 days ago, and with the assessor rating him some way clear of his rivals, we can expect to see him priced accordingly. David Bridgwater sent out a winner recently so Engai shouldn't be dismissed out of hand. He finally got off the mark at Worcester after a number of near misses and it is to be hoped that he has gleaned some confidence for the experience. Geordie Boy weakened quickly after making a bad mistake on his hurdling debut. He'd shaped well for a long way and can be anticipated to have come on for the run. Osorios Trial, Mayan Flight and Chappelle Du Roi chased Azure Fly at a respectful distance on their last visit to Stratford and the trio look to have it all to do again.
