Verdict
Magic River sets the standard after scoring over course and distance this month but is far from bombproof off topweight. He may well improve further off this 5lb higher mark but is taken on with BOY IN A BENTLEY, albeit not with high levels of confidence. The Mulholland charge isn't straightforward and has always proved tricky to win with but didn't shape at all badly after an absence last time and the best of his chasing efforts suggest he does have the talent to land an ordinary contest such as this for a first win over the larger obstacles. Game Line and Hurricane Vic are running well enough to indicate they could get involved in a tricky if moderate affair.
