Verdict
Simondiun can add to champion trainer Paul Nicholls tally of winners with both Winter Star and Tot Of The Knar worth noting. The selection bids for a hat-trick after two wins at Worcester. He carries the double penalty but is clearly better than any of his rivals and on official rating he looks really well treated and therefore he is difficult to oppose. Winter Star continues to be a summer star as he embarks on a four timer. He is on the up grade and has done nothing wrong but this does look his stiffest task to date and he may have to settle for second place prize money this time around. The mare Tot Of The Knar is another that has shown a decent level of form since joining Alison Thorpe. She won at Worcester and Newton Abbott before finding Our Choice too good last time out. She once again will be up against it but has to be respected as she has proven form on a soft surface. But for the winner we return to Simondiun.
