Verdict
Pedler's profiles can give weight away all round, with Mungo Jerry, Dagola and Pips Assertive Way seen as the main dangers. Despite the size of the field, this should take little winning, and the overall form of Pedler's Profiles gives him leading claims. The six-year-old finally got his head in front in similar company at Worcester last month, and then ran well in defeat under a 9lb penalty there next time in trying to give weight to Veverka. With Richard Johnson in the saddle, he should make a bold bid. Mungo Jerry has won twice on the Flat but has failed to impress in limited outings over hurdles in the past, and would be more fancied on softer going, but Dagola won a Banded race at Kempton in May and takes an effective drop in grade over timber so is worth noting. Pips Assertive Way hails from a shrewd yard but has shown very little to date, and all in all in what is a weak contest, Pedler's Profiles has more claims than most.
