Verdict

Holy Cross took a backward step last time at Worcester and Asknotwhat is already starting to look exposed. But Lostock Hall may be improving with experience and Spectator is an interesting recruit to jumping. He won three times up to 1m7f on the Flat and his trainer has done well with similar types in the past, though may need his first outing in almost a year. SCARLET MINSTREL was also a decent stayer on the Flat and he shaped with promise behind Alcock And Brown on his hurdles bow at Worcester - that experience should stand him in good stead today.
