Renard hasn’t won for a very long time but has been placed in a couple of amateur riders’ races lately and might appreciate this slight drop in trip. Ceann Sibheal has only had the one run over fences so is open to improvement while Alberobello has gone well fresh in the past so an absence of almost 12 months is not particularly off-putting. TOLKEINS TANGO (NAP) shaped nicely on his belated reappearance under a big weight at Exeter and can build on that to take this with Butlergrove King remaining resolutely out of sorts.
