In depth

Verdict

Christy Beamish, Cannon Bridge and Lord Bush look the three to concentrate on in this hunter chase with the confident vote going to Christy Beamish. The selection was a fair second behind Katarino in a much better race last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and under conditions that suit he need only run up to that mark to win this with plenty in hand. Cannon Bridge rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Gilzione but he has yet to prove he stays this far and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Lord Bush is another last time out winner that could go well but he lacks experience compared to his main rivals and for that reason he is passed over. Of the remainder Long Night is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he lacks the scope of the selection Christy Beamish.
