Verdict

This looks open but Sean Bowen gave KARANNELLE a dream ride when coming from way back to score at Market Rasen and the combination can strike again off a 4lb higher mark. She's a confirmed hold-up merchant for whom things need to drop just right but she's clearly in great nick at present and is worth staying with. She receives 16lb from Yauthym from the in-form O'Brien yard, who ties in closely with Lady Reset on their running at Kempton in late spring. Both were below par last time though, the former on the Flat, and there should be little between them on that previous evidence. Admiral's Sunset is best watched on a first start over hurdles since 2020 but recent course winner, the consistent Ayr Of Elegance, is a danger to all having scored tidily here last time.
